The Government of Telangana State (GoTS) has identified Medical Devices and Diagnostics as strategic growth sectors for Hyderabad. In this context, GoTS had established the country’s largest Medical Device Park spread over 302 acres in Hyderabad in 2017. Since its launch, the park has received overwhelming response for the park with over 55 companies lining up to set up their manufacturing / R&D units.
The comprehensive and vibrant multi-disciplinary ecosystem of Hyderabad clearly differentiates the city from the rest of the country. Hyderabad has a dominant position in Life Sciences and Technology and is also known as the Healthcare hub of the country. In addition, Hyderabad has numerous companies with expertise in plastics, precision engineering, electronics, etc., all of which are vital for medical device innovators and manufacturers.
